Global Forwarding delivers cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air. From loose cartons for consolidation and palletised cargo to moving dangerous goods and bulk commodities, we have the experience, the infrastructure, and the global network to get freight moving – across towns, across countries and across continents.
The Opportunity:
1.Develop and execute the country sales plan in line with the country budget, ensuring all sales KPIs and ROI targets are met or exceeded.
2.Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, fostering collaboration within sales and across product functions and branches/country levels.
3.Personally engage with key customers to drive growth and manage a limited portfolio of accounts.
4.Implement, coordinate, and follow up on global and regional initiatives, ensuring alignment with the One Toll strategy.
5.Monitor and measure sales performance metrics such as quotations, hit ratios, and sales achievements, and provide regular reports and recommendations to regional heads.
6.React to changes in the business and market environment by redesigning sales plans/processes to achieve growth targets, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and corporate brand awareness.
What you’ll need to succeed:
1. Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in global logistics/forwarding, including more than 5 years in senior management and leadership roles.
2. Project and Change Management: Proven track record in handling large, complex projects with challenging business outcomes, demonstrating strong change management skills.
3. Operational and Stakeholder Management: Expertise in managing operations, setting priorities within budgets and time frames, and effectively dealing with stakeholders through collaborative forums.
4. Leadership and Development: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop individuals and teams, and use effective strategies to achieve organizational goals in an international, multi-cultural environment.
5 Risk Management and Strategic Planning: Skilled in identifying and analyzing risks and opportunities, providing strategic advice, and employing critical thinking to find alternative solutions.
