Boeing China is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join the Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) Program to help the overall management and coordination of spare parts utilization in the program. This position will be based in Taipei or Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Position Responsibilities
  • Process daily unplanned demand requests for parts and materials from MRO
  • Review and validate unplanned demand requests for in stock or readily available alternatives
  • Provide daily status reports on unplanned demand/kits and major commodities for aircraft at MRO
  • Coordinate in country movement of parts and materials between MRO's in event of urgent part needs
  • Review aircraft summary material and logistics costs upon completion for any non BCF work scope items
  • Monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers
  • Provides recommendations for MRO process improvement initiatives
  • Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews
  • On Site support for Boeing contracted MRO
  • Help resolve supply chain problems internal to Boeing and with the MRO
  • Ability to team and collaborate face to face and in a virtual environment

Basic Qualifications
  • Familiarity with inventory and enterprise systems and basic reporting/analysis tools.
  • Ability to prepare and communicate status updates and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Strong problem solving, process improvement orientation, and adaptability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work both on site and virtually.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; willing to provide on site MRO support and travel for both domestic and international as needed.
  • Ability to speak, read and write local languages as well be fluent in English
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years in materials management, MRO support, or aviation supply chain with urgent/expedited parts experience.
  • Experience handling urgent or unplanned parts and material requests and identifying alternatives.
  • Experience coordinating movement and delivery of parts and materials.

  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
  • Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll
