For our Trade team, we are looking for a new National Key Account Manager, based in Bucharest, whose main responsibilities will be to:
Main Scope:
As National Key Account Manager, you will drive the development and execution of Key Account trade and commercial plans for strategic partners across both Distributor and Pharma networks. You’ll ensure brand visibility, volume growth, and effective in store communication, while making the best use of allocated budgets and resources.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy and marketing plans for national pharmacy chains, ensuring flawless execution through the Field Force teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributor partners, ensuring alignment with business priorities and achievement of Sandoz objectives.
- Lead, coordinate, and facilitate the implementation of Key Account plans aligned with the overall commercial strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Ensure seamless integration of Key Account plans into broader account management activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and counterparts to ensure effective communication and joint execution on key accounts.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Continuously track, assess, and provide feedback on all Key Account activities.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to maximize impact and achieve agreed targets.
- Deliver relevant insights and reports to keep internal teams fully informed on account performance and needs.
Execution Excellence
- Execute the agreed strategy across the assigned account portfolio, ensuring marketing and distribution objectives are consistently met.
- Successfully deliver both cyclical and non-cyclical activities within key accounts.
- Prepare and manage all commercial and marketing documentation required for Key Account activities, ensuring proper approval and archiving according to internal procedures.
In-store Excellence & Service Implementation
- Ensure implementation of agreed marketing service plans across key accounts.
- Monitor service execution through Field Force collaboration and regular visits to contracted points of sale.
Essential Requirements:
- 3-5 years in a similar role within a PHARMA or FMCG organization, ideally managing national accounts, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Hands-on experience leading and coordinating field activities, with the ability to translate strategy into flawless execution.
- Deep knowledge of brand management, trade marketing, and distribution dynamics.
- Strong financial acumen, including the ability to integrate profitability, pricing, and cost elements into negotiations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and allocate resources strategically.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with senior management, direct reports, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.
- Strong capability to build and maintain long-term relationships across all key accounts.
