Shape the Future of Commercial Irrigation

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded National Irrigation Specification Manager to drive the specification, adoption, and market leadership of our commercial irrigation solutions across Australia.

This is a high-impact national role where you will work closely with irrigation consultants, golf course architects, designers, contractors, dealers, and end users to secure product specifications on major commercial irrigation projects. You will play a critical role in building project pipelines, influencing project outcomes, and strengthening our position within key markets including golf courses, sports fields, race tracks, and public open spaces.

About the Role

As the National Irrigation Specification Manager, you will identify and influence project opportunities from concept through to completion. You'll leverage your industry expertise and professional network to ensure technically compliant, commercially competitive irrigation specifications that deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Securing irrigation product specifications on commercial projects nationwide.
  • Developing and managing a strong pipeline of future project opportunities.
  • Identifying projects during planning and concept stages and influencing specification outcomes.
  • Working with consultants, architects, and designers to develop technically compliant irrigation solutions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with consultants, dealers, specifiers, contractors, and key industry influencers.
  • Supporting project tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Monitoring market developments, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Providing outstanding customer support throughout project design, tender, construction, and commissioning stages.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 5-10 years' experience within the irrigation industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with consultants, architects, designers, and contractors.
  • Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • A customer-focused approach combined with strong technical knowledge.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP and/or SalesLogix will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in golf, sports turf, or water management sectors is desirable.
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and a safe driving record.
  • A valid passport and willingness to travel interstate and occasionally internationally.
