A National Accounts Sales Support Administrative Analyst performs activities related to supporting various roles within the National Accounts sales team including New Business Sales, Existing Business Leaders, Executives and the Account Management team. The primary responsibility of the role is to perform supporting work and activities related the execution of our sales strategies. Some of the core responsibilities include: processing and tracking of expenses, editing and formatting of documents in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, etc., coordinating distribution of communications, completing procurement activities and standard reporting tasks from Cigna systems or Excel file manipulation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert in the functions of the Sales Support role while managing relationships and interaction with sales team members, delegating tasks into workflow and/or acquiring more information as appropriate to contribute to successful production of tasks
  • Coordinate development and execution of projects as assigned by Sales team and Leadership team
  • Consistently deliver high quality work within established time frames; willingly assist peers and management
  • Assist the sales team with scheduling internal and external meetings both virtually and in-person, as well as any necessary business travel arrangements and expenses.
  • Support the Sales Team with preparations and logistics for prospect and existing client meetings
  • Coordinate procurement functions
  • Partner with the Sales team to coordinate, develop and finalize client presentations, communications (both direct mail and digital), and various reports either sourced from Cigna internal systems or manipulated in Excel by use of VLOOKUPS and other common formulas. 
  • Executes on client annual enrollment projects including event tracking, scheduling, coordinating coverage, collaterals, giveaways, travel, and presentation materials.
  • Maintain effective communication and tight connectivity to sales/account team members – acts in concert as an extension of the client team: professional and positive presentation, strong communication & technical skills - maintains a philosophy of partnership, collaboration, results and solutions orientation.
  • Provide sales team with guidance in resolving technical issues and/or system access needs
  • Development and distribution of digital communications internally or to clients & brokers
  • Coordinate and support onboarding processes for all of National Accounts team
  • Organize activities and tasks that support products for National Accounts
  • Complete standard and non-standard levels of reporting that may require sufficient excel skills and business acumen.
  • Assist account team with sourcing collaterals to support their client strategies. 
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes to continuously create new efficiencies. 
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and one-on-one meetings and identifying ways to improve efficiencies within the team and across National Accounts. 
  • Work collaboratively with peers, management, and project teams toward solutions, and quality improvements.
  • Execute on additional tasks and projects as assigned

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s/ Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a very fast paced production/deadline-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and within a collaborative team oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong decision-making capacity.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to context, substance and detail.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Quick learner, able to assimilate information in a fast paced environment.
  • Passion for customer service/strong customer service skills.
  • Passion for making a positive contribution in a cohesive team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft suite of products including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 23 - 34 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
