Job Description

The National Account Manager, Communities, is responsible for driving enterprise-level revenue growth and strategic expansion across Brightspeed’s top national MDU, SFU, and New Build partnerships. This individual serves as the executive point of contact for assigned national ownership groups, developers, and industry consultants, leading complex, multi-market negotiations while aligning national strategy across regions to ensure consistent execution and scalable growth.

A core responsibility of this position is to develop and maintain high-trust relationships with national real estate consultants and advisory firms. The National Account Manager positions Brightspeed as the preferred broadband and fiber partner, ensuring the company is consistently recommended to consultant clients for bulk agreements, smart community solutions, marketing partnerships, and fiber infrastructure deployments.

This role requires strong executive presence, financial acumen, and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders, investment committees, and consultant networks in competitive environments. Success demands disciplined funnel leadership, national account planning, and the ability to structure complex agreements that meet internal return thresholds while delivering long-term enterprise value.

Impact:

• Own and grow Brightspeed’s portfolio of top-tier national accounts across multiple markets
• Develop and execute national account strategies that align regional sales efforts under a unified partnership framework
• Serve as the executive relationship lead for C-suite stakeholders, REIT leadership, private equity sponsors, and national developers
• Establish Brightspeed as the preferred partner within key consultant networks and advisory firms
• Drive consultant engagement strategies to secure recurring referrals and national alignment opportunities
• Lead complex enterprise negotiations including bulk agreements, exclusive marketing arrangements, building entrance agreements, and master service agreements
• Provide national-level competitive insights and influence internal go-to-market strategy
• Maintain disciplined forecasting and multi-market pipeline visibility
• Partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, legal, finance, engineering, and construction teams to structure scalable national agreements
• Develop financial models addressing ramp structures, ROI expectations, and long-term portfolio economics
• Represent Brightspeed at national industry events and advisory forums
• Identify and mitigate strategic risks across large-scale portfolio deployments
• Deliver executive-level business reviews and long-term partnership planning sessions

Qualifications

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
• 5–8+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with demonstrated success managing national or strategic accounts
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets within complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and private equity decision makers
• Experience developing national account strategies and managing multi-region partnerships
• Advanced negotiation skills with experience structuring large-scale agreements
• Strong financial acumen with ability to evaluate IRR, revenue ramp, and portfolio-level performance metrics
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships within consultant and advisory networks
• Exceptional presentation and strategic communication skills
• High level of ownership, accountability, and business maturity
• Ability to travel nationally as required
• Proficiency with CRM systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills

A plus if you have:

• Experience in fiber, broadband, telecom, or utility infrastructure enterprise sales
• Direct experience working with national real estate consultants or advisory firms
• Background in REITs, private equity-backed portfolios, or large-scale multifamily operators
• Experience structuring national master service agreements
