Murex Solution Architect

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Murex Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience to provide technology leadership, solution architecture guidance, and strategic direction for Murex-related technology initiatives. The role is responsible for translating business requirements into technology solutions, guiding cross-functional teams, supporting successful project delivery, and ensuring that technology roadmaps align with overall business strategy. The position contributes to business objectives by improving technology efficiency, supporting informed technology adoption, and delivering scalable, maintainable, and effective solutions.

Required

• In-depth understanding of various technologies and software systems relevant to solution architecture and technology delivery.

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams supporting Murex solution architecture and technology initiatives.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural direction to team members.

• Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.

• The experience requirement should be assessed based on the scope of responsibilities, technical contribution, leadership involvement, and complexity of delivered solutions.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, clarify priorities, and define Murex and related technology solutions.

• Lead cross-functional technology teams, participate in regular delivery and architecture meetings, and provide technical guidance and mentorship.

• Evaluate new technologies, develop and maintain technology roadmaps, and recommend solutions that support business strategy and delivery objectives.

• Manage project decisions, vendor relationships, technical dependencies, risks, and deliverables while ensuring successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in technology leadership and software development for the role.

• Certifications in solution architecture, Agile development, project management, cloud computing, or related technology areas are preferred where relevant.

• Complete role-relevant training in Murex, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, databases, Agile delivery, security, and technology governance as applicable.
