Summary Generated by Built In

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning numbers into meaningful business decisions? We're looking for a Multisite Finance Manager to support the financial performance of an exciting portfolio spanning Dundee United, Dundee FC and Glasgow College.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work closely with operational teams, providing financial insight, strengthening controls and identifying opportunities to improve performance. You'll have the chance to build relationships across different sites and sectors, helping teams understand their numbers and make informed decisions that deliver real results.

Your working week will be split between three days at Dundee United and Dundee FC stadiums, and two days at Glasgow College, giving you a great mix of environments, teams and commercial challenges.

Salary: £38,000 per year
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional weekends
Location: Dundee and Glasgow
Job ID: 8099

What you'll be serving up...
  • Managing month-end processes and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting across your sites.
  • Producing weekly and monthly Profit & Loss accounts, investigating variances and explaining what the numbers mean for the business.
  • Supporting budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts to help drive financial performance.
  • Analysing costs, identifying trends and highlighting opportunities to improve efficiency, manage risks and deliver savings.
  • Partnering with operational managers to provide clear financial guidance and challenge where needed.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring accurate data and meeting key reporting deadlines.
  • Looking for smarter ways of working, improving finance processes and reducing manual administration.
  • Building trusted relationships with stakeholders and contributing to wider finance projects and business initiatives.
The ingredients you'll bring...

You'll be a proactive, commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working with people as much as working with numbers. You'll be confident explaining financial information, spotting opportunities and helping operational teams understand how their decisions affect performance.

  • AAT qualification, an equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in finance management, financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and turn it into practical business insight.
  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a commitment to maintaining strong financial controls.
  • The ability to organise your workload, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills, with the confidence to explain financial information to colleagues without a finance background.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites and teams.

If you're looking for a role where you can make a tangible difference, build strong business partnerships and bring your financial expertise to a diverse portfolio of sites, we'd love to hear from you!
