About the Role:
Our German Multi-National Sales team is made up of experienced sales managers reporting to the VP. The team is organized across territories within Germany and the wider DACH region. As a sales manager, you'll hold a key strategic role, responsible for closing new business and recognized as a senior influencer within the travel industry.
What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal partners, while developing senior-level client contacts.
Work effectively in a team-based, matrixed environment.
Build a strong set of prospects and lead the pipeline.
Move prospects through the sales cycle to close.
Help continuously improve the sales process at Amex GBT.
Bring exceptional relationship management and consultative sales skills.
Synthesize client needs with a sophisticated, strategic approach.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years' experience within a Travel Management Company.
5–10 years' sales experience, including sales leadership experience.
A proven track record selling to and winning large, multi-national accounts, with the ability to shape client-specific solutions.
Extensive client-facing experience on a global scale, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders within large global organizations, and a strong grasp of how to drive and communicate client value.
B2B business development and sales, with strength in executive relationship management.
Familiarity with the Challenger sales model.
Experience implementing global expansion, with clear written and verbal communication skills for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.
Confident with Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Willingness to travel up to 40%; experience working in a virtual office environment is a plus.
