Role Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Multinational Finance Manager to build our finance operations capabilities and support the rollout of Multinational Programmes (MNP’s) globally. This pivotal role involves setting up and managing our International finance operations, ensuring compliance with global regulations and building scalable foundations and processes to support our growth.

Key Accountabilities:

Lead the development and implementation of finance architecture and capabilities to support MNP’s from the ground up, ensuring scalability and adaptability to different markets and products.

  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency in the management of MNP’s, leveraging technology, data analytics, and best practices to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including not only the broader finance team but also IT, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to understand optimal ways of interacting with them, leveraging new technologies that will drive efficiency and minimize operational risk.
  • Map gross and ceded premium flows for master / local policies across branches / legal entities and regions and currencies, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain robust reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial records, including premium collection, broker commissions, ceded premium, claims payments, IPT, VAT and intercompany transactions.
  • Implement and manage automated reconciliation tools to streamline financial operations, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
  • Working closely with the FP&A team, establish structures to track profitability of MNP across the Everest group.
  • Working with our international tax team ensure compliance with regulatory & tax compliance requirements and industry standards, proactively identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.

Skills & Abilities:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing finance operations across MNP’s.
  • Hands-on experience with financial insurance products and services.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop finance teams, fostering professional growth and developing robust financial capabilities within the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex financial data.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive financial strategy across multiple geographies.
  • Agility and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance within different jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
