Position Summary
The AV Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of AV equipment and systems within the office environment. This role involves supporting AV calls, maintaining AV devices, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other IT and AV Vendors to provide high-quality AV services to the organization.
AV Engineer is responsible for conducting and coordinating webinars, including setup, dry runs, rehearsals, after-webinar recording.
Job Responsibilities

  • AV Call Support: Provide technical support for audio and video conferencing calls over MS Team, Cisco Webex including setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure that AV equipment is functioning correctly during meetings and conferences.
  • Assist with connecting remote participants and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • AV Device Maintenance: Regularly inspect, maintain, and update AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine checks on projectors, displays, microphones, cameras, and other AV devices.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance with AV vendors as necessary.
  • Perform AV checklist and share status update daily.
  • Deep knowledge of Crestron, Biamp, Shure and cisco technology (Troubleshooting and Installation)


Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education
Bachelor's degree in information systems, or related field
Experience
(In Years)
~ 2 years of experience in audio and video equipment and system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Technical Skills

  • Associate degree or higher in audio engineering, video production, or related field.
  • Knowledge of audio and video equipment and system standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Cisco collaboration devices (troubleshooting, knowledge of Webex control hub )
  • Knowledge of Biamp, shure (troubleshooting, Biamp servers, I/O cards etc)
  • Crestron technology (Troubleshooting matrix switchers, control processor's, knowledge of I/O cards in chassis )
  • Proficiency in using audio and video equipment and system tools, software, and applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret audio and video equipment and system diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
