Position: Multi Tech I, II, III (Thermoforming Technician)
Location: Dekalb, IL
Wage: Starting out at $24.82/hr and up to $29.63 (Depending on experience)
(2nd shift premium of $1.25)
Shift: M-TH (10 hour)
2nd shift - 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM (Most Needed)

While reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, the following job description outlines the essential functions of each level of role within the thermoforming department. The following lists are not exhaustive, and the employee in each of these roles is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Follow all safety rules and ensure a safe working environment of all machines operating
- Verify job orders to ensure set-up tooling, material matches required customer specification and correct revision level
- Retrieve next job order’s tooling components from kitting department.
- Check tools for any damage from previous run or storage.
- Record beginning and end of tear down/beginning of set up times
- Order materials for new tools.
- Initiate Energy Isolation procedures.
- Accurately and timely perform change over and fine-tune.
- Able to adjust presses as needed to produce good quality finished goods.
- Able to record dimensions at beginning of run and every 3 hours after.
- Work with the packers to identify when product is acceptable and ready for packing.
- Perform all required packer coverage responsibilities, as needed.
- Monitor reclaim quality according to reclaim procedures.
- Perform minor machine maintenance as needed.
- Assist with daily housekeeping duties within and all-around thermo-forming

- Experience with Thermoforming/ Kiefel Machines
- Preferred Tool Change experience
- Preferred Machine Operating experience
- High school degree or equivalent
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Must be a team player and possess positive interpersonal and relational skills
- Must be able to work with hand tools i.e. micrometer, dial indicator, calipers, etc.
