Salary Range: $130,000–$180,000 Annually (based on experience)
Experience Required: 10+ Years

Job Summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Mule ESB Developer with 10+ years of enterprise integration experience, including extensive expertise with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and operate enterprise-scale integration solutions using API-led connectivity principles while driving architecture, governance, security, and performance optimization across complex integration landscapes. This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of delivering highly scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions while mentoring engineering teams and collaborating with enterprise architects, application owners, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, and Mule Runtime.
  • Architect API-led connectivity solutions, defining reusable System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs aligned with enterprise integration standards.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, SOAP services, GraphQL APIs, and asynchronous integration patterns using DataWeave, RAML, and OpenAPI specifications.
  • Develop reusable integration components, connectors, policies, templates, and shared services to accelerate enterprise integration initiatives.
  • Deploy and manage Mule applications on CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, Hybrid, or on-premises environments while ensuring scalability and high availability.
  • Implement enterprise API security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, mTLS, API gateways, and Anypoint API Manager.
  • Design event-driven integration solutions using Anypoint MQ, Apache Kafka, JMS, or enterprise messaging platforms.
  • Integrate enterprise systems including Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Optimize integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability improvements.
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, API governance, monitoring, logging, and observability using enterprise DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
  • Lead architecture reviews, perform code reviews, mentor integration engineers, and establish enterprise integration development standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise application integration, including 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.x, Mule Runtime, and API development.
  • Extensive experience implementing API-led connectivity, REST APIs, SOAP services, RAML, OpenAPI, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong hands-on experience deploying Mule applications on CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, Hybrid, or on-premises environments.
  • Deep understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and API governance using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and Anypoint API Manager.
  • Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Anypoint MQ, Kafka, JMS, or similar messaging technologies.
  • Extensive experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Oracle ERP, and cloud-based applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, or MuleSoft Platform Architect certification.
  • Experience deploying MuleSoft solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and enterprise integration governance.
  • Experience implementing Zero Trust API security, API lifecycle management, and enterprise security frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of GraphQL, AsyncAPI, event streaming architectures, and modern integration technologies.
