ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Semiconductor Engineering Intern here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting semiconductor engineering projects and processes. You will assist in the development, testing, and analysis of semiconductor devices and contribute to advancing our semiconductor technology initiatives.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing and design processes, supporting the engineering team in delivering high-quality semiconductor solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in semiconductor device testing, characterization, and data analysis.
- Support process development and optimization activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Location: This position is available in multiple locations across the United States.
The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
The hourly base range for this position is $25.00 - $44.85. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar field
· Must graduate December 2027 or later
· Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
· Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
· Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

WE VALUE:
- Familiarity with ASIC/FPGA design languages, such as VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with basic Digital Design concepts, including Clocking and Resets, Clock-Domain-Crossing Analysis, Synthesis, Place-and-Route, and Static Timing Analysis.
- Knowledge of basic Electrical Engineering principles
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication tools or simulation software.
Interning at Honeywell Aerospace provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, professional development, and mentorship within a global organization. Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
