At Micron, our Engineering teams are at the forefront of revolutionizing the world through data. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Statistician to join our dynamic team in Taiwan. This is an outstanding opportunity to bring to bear your statistical expertise to drive strategic decisions and operational excellence within a world-class organization.
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to craft data insights for Micron's future.
Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Structuring: Gather and consolidate data from multiple departments into structured databases.
• Statistical Analysis: Use statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python) to perform calculations, power analyses, and interpret data patterns.
• Insight Generation: Identify trends and correlations that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Reporting: Share findings with collaborators through reports, dashboards, or executive briefings.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of work experience as a statistician in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated track record in planning and forecasting.
• Familiarity with yield and quality analysis.
• Expertise in master data governance and process optimization.
• Ability to successfully implement data-driven solutions within a fast-paced environment.
