As an Operations Intelligence (OI) Engineer in Micron, you are responsible for driving PWF, Assembly & Test manufacturing efficiency projects as a subject master expert to optimize industrial engineering, planning system integration, cycle time and equipment utilization by enabling line management reports, dispatching, and scheduling solutions and automation for manufacturing operations. In this role, you will work with internal and external teams to develop planning and scheduling models to improve production metrics for site Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Apply & utilization provided system and tool for production line scheduling & dispatch and drive for improvement on efficiency and machine utilization for PWF and A&T Manufacturing
- Develop, maintain, and improve scheduling and dispatch system logics Toolview/APF rules to an optimize performance.
- Initiate and continuously improve for the PWF and A&T including manufacturing methods and processes.
- Participate in the creation, maintenance, improvement, and training of software, reports, and metrics related to A&T production line scheduling & dispatch as well as planning.
- Lead or support projects with site & network team.
- Responsible for site planning system enhancement and improvement.
- Understand Micron's capacity calculation data structure and methodology.
- Communicate with other sites and cross-functional departments to ensure that BKMs are shared.
- AI-driven applications to adopt site projects to improve further efficiency.
Education
Bachelor's Degree and above, Major in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Planning Management, Information system, Automation, Operations Research, or related field.
Qualifications
- AI solutions thru Cloud assist to develop AIoT programs.
- Strong presentation skillset to approach well project management.
- Good Knowledge & Experience in scheduling/dispatch implementation for Assembly & Test in Semiconductors industry.
- Good knowledge in inventory management, simulation, optimization, modeling, forecasting, automation, statistics, data mining, and database management.
- Knowledge of data structures of software systems such as Micron systems and manufacturing planning and execution system.
- Familiar with PWF, Assembly & Test Applications: ToolView, MAM, SAP, ETI, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applications including SharePoint, Python/Django, Tableau, Power BI, C#, VB/VBA, APF, MSSQL, NoSQL (Mongo DB, Hadoop, Cassandra), etc.
- AI-Enabled Coding to using LLMs,
- Initiative, and willing to learn & share with internal and external teams.

Skills Required
