We're looking for a MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Planner in our Service Center in New Iberia, LA. - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:
You’ll be based out of our NEW IBERIA service center
Track Purchase Orders, expedites urgent and late orders, and communicate status accordingly.
Follow up vendor contact for designated outstanding invoices according to set timelines and log activities & results
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Requisition material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
Review production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material
Take part in afterhours call rotation
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in related field
Provide support to other departments or functions as requested.
Customer Service oriented and excellent communication skills
PC literate in a Microsoft environment, ERP system
Ability to lift heavy objects, typically up to 50lbs.
