We’re looking for a MRP Planner in our Service Center in New Iberia, LA.- a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Tracks Purchase Orders, expedites urgent and late orders, and communicate status accordingly.
  • Follow up vendor contact for designated outstanding invoices according to set timelines and log activities & results
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Requisition material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
  • Review production schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material
  • Take part in after-hours call rotation

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in related field
  • Tracking purchase orders.
  • Provide support to other departments or functions as requested.
  • Experience repairing diesel and NG generators and/or diesel engines is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Available to work overtime, travel and on- call rotations.
  • Other duties as assigned by duty parts manager
