GTI Energy is seeking an MRO / VMI Coordinator to support maintenance, repair, and operational inventory management across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating vendor-managed inventory programs, monitoring stock levels, supporting supplier communication, and ensuring timely replenishment of critical materials and consumables.

This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with suppliers, maintenance, warehouse, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

    MRO & Inventory Coordination

    • Monitor MRO inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability for operations
    • Coordinate replenishment activities with VMI suppliers and internal stakeholders
    • Track inventory usage trends and support inventory optimization initiatives
    • Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and material organization efforts
    • Supplier & Vendor Management

      • Maintain communication with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and replenishment schedules
      • Support vendor-managed inventory programs to ensure service level expectations are met
      • Coordinate supplier visits, inventory reviews, and stocking adjustments
      • Escalate supply or delivery concerns impacting operations
      • Reporting & Data Management

        • Maintain accurate ERP inventory and supplier data
        • Generate reports related to inventory levels, shortages, stockouts, and supplier performance
        • Support KPI reporting for inventory turns, replenishment timing, and supplier responsiveness
        • Update order tracking information and inventory records as needed
        • Cross-Functional Support

          • Partner with Maintenance, Warehouse, Receiving, and Procurement teams to resolve material issues
          • Assist with onboarding new MRO suppliers and maintaining vendor documentation
          • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory processes and material flow
          • Provide administrative and coordination support for inventory management activities

Requirements

    • 3+ years of inventory coordination, purchasing support, warehouse, or supply chain experience
    • Strong Excel, ERP, and inventory data management skills
    • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up abilities
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
    • Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience in manufacturing, MRO, or industrial supply environments preferred
      • Experience working with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs preferred
      • Familiarity with inventory control processes and ERP systems preferred
