Description

Every nation has data. Few can protect it. Fewer still can act on it.

Dream is the sovereign AI and national cyber-defense company for governments.

We help nations secure their most critical systems, connect fragmented information at a national scale, and turn their most sensitive data into decisions, all fully sovereign.

This is more than a job. It's a Dream job, where you'll work at a global scale alongside some of the best AI researchers, cyber operators, and government experts in the world.

We defend nations against the most advanced threats in the world with a national security suite that offers AI-native resilience against APTs with visibility, insights and mediation across Posture, CTI, and Detection & Response, all fully sovereign.

The Dream Job

We’re hiring a motion and video designer to do something rare - build a company’s presence in motion from the ground up.

Right now, Dream’s story is told mostly through words, stills, and a few hints of motion. That’s about to change. We need someone who can make executive interviews feel cinematic rather than corporate, turn complex national-security concepts into motion graphics that land in seconds, and create event content that holds its own on stages like Davos and Munich.

Motion and video are the center of this role. You’ll also bring that same eye to selected brand work, supporting on projects like high-stakes presentations, social and event asset, but most of your time will be spent defining what Dream looks and feels like in motion.

You’ll be a senior individual contributor on the marketing team, reporting to the VP Marketing and working side by side with our brand designer. It’s a small and unusually ambitious team. The things you make will be seen by ministers, national-security leaders, and the technical teams defending entire countries.

You won’t be expected to operate as a one-person production company (but when we can, of course we will). When a project needs a crew, studio, freelancer, or specialist, we’ll resource it accordingly. Your job is to know what great requires and leading the work there.

The Dream-Maker Responsibilities

Establish our video presence. Lead video from brief and concept through production, post, and delivery. Create executive interviews, customer-facing films, internal videos, social cuts, and event content. Depending on the project, you’ll work hands-on or direct the right external partners.

Build our motion language. Define how the Dream brand moves across animated explainers, product visualizations, kinetic type, event screens, and digital content. Make abstract concepts like sovereign AI and national cyber resilience feel concrete, clear, and consequential.

Shape the creative. Turn ideas into treatments, storyboards, and narratives. Direct contributors and production partners, make confident creative decisions, and maintain a high bar through the final frame.

Support high-stakes brand work. Support designing the materials our teams bring into meetings with governments, including decks, one-pagers, and briefing visuals. The standard is exceptionally high.

Extend the brand system. Work with our brand designer to sharpen Dream’s visual presence across web, templates, social, and events.

The Dream Skill Set
  • 5+ years of design experience, with serious video and motion work in your portfolio. The portfolio matters—a lot. Show us the work that best represents your taste, range, and ambition.
  • Video and motion are your center of gravity. You’re highly capable in editing and motion graphics, with the visual storytelling instincts to turn a complicated brief into something people immediately understand.
  • Strong graphic design fundamentals. You can work confidently with typography, composition, hierarchy, and brand systems, even if pure brand design isn’t your primary discipline.
  • Creative-direction instincts. You can shape a concept, build a treatment, give useful direction, and lead internal contributors and external partners toward a coherent result.
  • AI-native. AI tools are already part of how you generate, edit, explore, and iterate. You use them to move faster and push further—but speed never comes at the expense of judgment or taste.
  • A contemporary visual point of view. Your work feels current, considered, and culturally aware.
  • Genuinely collaborative. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and communications. You take feedback well, give it thoughtfully, and make the work better through collaboration.
  • Fluent English. Our audience is global.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on filming experience, including cameras, lighting, and interview setups
  • Experience directing live-action, multi-camera, or location productions
  • 3D or advanced After Effects capabilities
  • A strong sound-design sensibility
  • Experience in cybersecurity, defense, or another trust-heavy industry

Why this role

Most motion designers inherit a system. Here, you’ll build one—for a company whose customers are countries.

You’ll have an unusual amount of variety, genuinely ambitious subject matter, and the resources to make the work properly. If you want the next chapter of your showreel to include work seen and used at a national level, we should talk.

To apply: Send us your portfolio or showreel. That’s the thing we’ll look at first. We want to see exceptional motion and video work, evidence of strong design fundamentals, and at least one project you’re unreasonably proud of.
