Job Description:
This position supports the graphics production manager and graphics producers, to manage the scheduling of artists and bandwidth of the team.
You will work directly with digital, broadcast and theatrical AP's & Producers and in addition, you will be expected to manage multiple administrative tools and maintain or improve the departments’ communication and workflow.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, quick to learn, personable, and unabashedly passionate about working with artists and building a career in entertainment marketing.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage production workflow tracking through Slack, Trello, and Float
- Assign graphics requests from all 3 departments based on artist availability and project compatibility
- Create work orders for new projects as they become active
- Facilitate vacation time requests for our designers while keeping our production pipeline running as efficiently as possible
- Attend daily production meetings to plan out workload and freelancer staffing in advance, and communicate any timeline concerns
- Cultivate cross-coast teamwork between NY and LA graphics teams
- Assist graphics producers with quality control
- Purchase font licenses, stock assets, and assist artists with acquiring new software and plugin licenses
- Requests are assigned or queued as quickly as possible
- Improved efficiency of the department’s bandwidth, staffing, and overhead costs
- Management software and documentation is kept up to date and organized at all times
- Prior experience working in a design/graphics or post production environment is desired, but not essential.
- Reports to: Graphics Production Manager and Lead Graphics Producer
- Non-Exempt (Hourly, Paid overtime) $31.25p/hr (annualized $65K). The base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Actual offers may vary based on work experience.
- Regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm. However, your shift may later be determined by ZEALOT.
- Regular overtime may be required as our business is driven by our clients' needs.
- You must be able to make a daily commute 3 x per week to the Los Angeles office to be considered for this job.
