What you will do:
The Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for generating creative ideas and crafting them into effective B2B and B2C messages and executions. The position involves a keen eye for design, and excellent executional skills. We are looking for a confident, curious, strategic problem solver and a true collaborator.
The ideal candidate is adaptable to design using different tools and programs. A master in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop). Also, you must be able to create dynamic and sophisticated presentation decks and sales collateral (Microsoft PowerPoint).
Someone who can take ideas from brief, to a storyboard and to the final art stage without a hitch, and are consumed with creating and refining ideas that are engaging and effective.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce creative solutions for assigned projects (static and motion graphics).

Design email and marketing communications in both Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.

Design and prepare mock-ups and storyboards for external and internal projects.

Photo manipulation, editing, and compositing as required.

Prepare, upload, & traffic final files to respective stakeholders.
Education & Certification
-
University or college degree in a relevant discipline such as Graphic Design, Motion Design or Multi-Media Design.

Certificate or coursework in marketing disciplines, such as design for marketing presentations, collateral and email communications.
Experience
-
2+ years of motion graphics design experience
-
2-3 years experience in a digital media advertising organization, developing multi-channel content for brands
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A master in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop)

Understanding of print standards, colour space & print methodologies
