About the Role
We're looking for a Motion Designer who can bring our brand to life through video editing, motion graphics, and animation. You'll create dynamic video content for social media, ads, product demos, and brand storytelling. This role requires strong visual storytelling skills and fluency with AI-powered video tools, you'll use AI to accelerate production, generate assets, and push creative boundaries.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Edit and produce short-form video content for social media (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
- Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects
- Design and animate explainer videos, product demos, and brand content
- Leverage AI video tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, Descript, CapCut AI) for content generation and editing
- Transform raw footage into polished, engaging video with pacing, hooks, and retention in mind
- Create animated ad creatives for paid campaigns (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
- Handle audio cleanup, sound design, and music selection
- Collaborate with Content Marketing and Social Media teams on video strategy
- Repurpose long-form content into platform-optimized short-form clips
- Build reusable motion templates (MOGRTs) and maintain organized project files.
What are we looking for, and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?
- 2-4 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or animation
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder
- Hands-on experience with AI video tools, Runway, Pika, Kling, Descript, or similar (non-negotiable)
- Understanding of social-first video: hooks, pacing, captions, retention curves
- Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work fast and iterate quickly based on feedback
- Basic sound design and audio editing skills.
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools
- Familiarity with AI image generation (Midjourney, Nano Banana Pro) for asset creation
- Experience creating content for restaurant, food & beverage, or hospitality brands
- Understanding of YouTube/TikTok algorithms and what drives watch time
- Character animation or 2D animation skills
