- Looking for a detail-focused, highly organized Animator / Motion Designer to assist with the production of social media content and the preparation of existing motion materials. The candidate must be self-sufficient, capable of independently problem-solving, and able to adapt to varying brand styles using supplied assets. A strict approach to self-review and quality control is required to ensure all work is accurate and error-free before being submitted for approval.
We're looking for candidates with experience at Creative & Motion Studios, Video Production Companies, Digital & Social Media Agencies, Property & Real Estate Marketing Agencies, or Offshore Creative Hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Make accurate amendments to existing animation files and use them as strict guidelines for new video content.
- Prepare clean, accurate, and layered artwork using Adobe Illustrator to be imported into After Effects.
- Produce and edit all video and motion graphic content in Adobe After Effects without relying heavily on plugins.
- Create short-form videos tailored for LinkedIn (20–30 seconds) and client websites.
- Export high-quality, low-file-size GIF animations for email headers (5–10 seconds).
- Animate technical website assets, including aerial maps with road networks and local occupier overlays.
- Follow existing brand guidelines and match the established tone, style, and energy of various campaigns.
- Edit animations and video content accurately to a music beat, demonstrating a strong understanding of pacing and visual flow.
- Ensure the size, proportion, and colours of all animated assets match the source materials exactly.
- Check all final rendered videos carefully to catch any errors or missing elements before sending back for review.
- Work self-sufficiently to problem-solve, locate missing assets on the server, and manage projects through to completion.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working as an animator or motion designer within an established agency or company.
- Excellent attention to detail, this is the most important requirement.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects for all animation and video editing tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for breaking down PDFs and preparing layered assets.
- Proven ability to export high-quality, optimized GIFs subject to strict file size limitations.
- Strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, and editing seamlessly to music.
- Proven ability to self-review work thoroughly and correct obvious mistakes prior to approval.
- Highly proactive with the ability to problem-solve and work independently post-briefing. Nice to Have:
- Degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Communication or a closely related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience using 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) for occasional required assets.
Work Arrangement
- Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm UK time fixed start time, 9-Hour Workday
