Park Avenue Group, a division of Angott Search Group, is partnering with a global bank in Florida in the search for a Mortgage Services Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the bank’s Mortgage Services team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced mortgage professional to provide leadership, strengthen operational processes, and ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency across residential and commercial real estate lending.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the Mortgage Services team, including prioritization, training, and performance management.
- Review residential and commercial real estate loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper execution.
- Monitor loan servicing activity, data quality, escrow, insurance, tax payments, and related processes.
- Oversee general ledger and account reconciliations related to mortgage operations.
- Develop processes to address operational issues, delays, and quality concerns.
- Prepare reporting and documentation for audits and management.
- Assist with complex inquiries and provide guidance to other bank employees.
- Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Mortgage Services, credit/loan administration, or portfolio management.
- Experience with both residential and commercial real estate lending.
- 2+ years of experience managing mortgage or loan support staff.
- Strong knowledge of RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending, UDAAP, GLBA, and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac servicing guidelines.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Encompass skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
