- Sandblast sleeves and inserts for insulator casting operations
- Sandblast and grind finished insulators to meet quality standards
- Prepare materials and components for casting processes
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Use hand tools, compressed air equipment, and sandblasting units safely and effectively
- Read and interpret tape measurements and basic blueprints
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and attendance requirements
- Support team members and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- No prior experience required; training provided
Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic ability to read tape measures and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions in a manufacturing setting

- Ratchet straps and rubber hammer
- Tape measure and stencil tools

- Sanders, grinders, and sandblasting equipment

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
