Context/Role

We are seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to lead the technical design, implementation, and evolution of our Microsoft-based digital workplace. As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across our endpoint, collaboration, and productivity platforms.

POSITION SCOPE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Reporting to Endpoint Global Technical Leader.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Intune, Windows 11 and related technologies.
  • Lead architectural decisions and roadmap planning for modern workplace solutions.
• Engineering & Automation
  • Design, build, test and transition to operations integrated digital workplace solutions to support a global population of 14k laptops & desktops across 40+ countries , 5k+ mobile devices and 100+ meeting rooms
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Autopilot, and PowerShell.
  • Conduct POC on new solutions with vendors, assess their solutions and provide documented feedback.
  • Automate device provisioning, patching, and compliance workflows.
  • Optimize performance and reliability of collaboration tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and other 3rd party applications.
  • Create and maintain procedures and technical documentation (designs, security and compliance assessments, proof-of-concept studies, deployment guides, training materials & operational guides and procedures). 
• Security
  • Collaborate with security teams to propose and enforce new policies.
  • Respond to SOC queries and work vulnerability remediation.
• Support
  • Provide Tier 3 support and lead incident response for workplace-related issues not resolved by L1 and L2.
  • Act as the tier 3 technical contact, deliver advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions for corporate customers and update knowledge database
• Project Delivery
  • Lead cross-functional projects
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to deliver high-impact solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & PROFILE 

• 7+ years in IT engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Deep expertise in Intune, Autopilot and Windows
• Handled enterprise mobile device management platforms (Intune) 
• Expert-level automation experience using PowerShell or other technologies
• Experience with endpoint analytics
• iOS and Mac management  - Zero touch deployment using Intune/JAMF
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent spoken and written English 

Technical Knowledge  / Certifications:  

Mandatory: 

Microsoft Intune Autopilot Windows  MDM – Android and iPhone

Certifications : 

Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, MD-102)
