What will you be doing in this role?
- Managing and administering a large-scale workstation environment consisting of thousands of physical and virtual workstations.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting workstation infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Planning, preparing, and deploying operating system images, patches, applications, and workstation configurations, including GPOs, Intune configuration profiles, CSPs, and OMA-URI settings.
- Developing and executing scripts to automate configuration management and software deployment.
- Troubleshooting workstation and application-related issues in collaboration with other ICT teams and Microsoft.
- Creating, testing, distributing, and maintaining application packages, ensuring successful deployment to end-user workstations.
- Monitoring and managing the lifecycle of business applications, including license renewals, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
- Enforcing security policies and monitoring compliance with organizational standards.
- Generating reports on configuration compliance, security posture, and standards enforcement.
- Evaluating, recommending, and implementing improvements, upgrades, and changes to workstation and endpoint management processes.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, user guides, how-to materials, and operational procedures related to Modern Endpoint deployment and configuration.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant IT professional experience, including at least 5 years in a similar role or relevant project experience.
- One of the following certifications (or equivalent experience):
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (supported by relevant experience)
- Strong knowledge of Modern Endpoint Management solutions, including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Apps, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong experience with Windows client operating systems, Windows Autopilot deployment and troubleshooting, and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM).
- Experience with tools such as 2Pint Software and Patch My PC.
- Strong knowledge of end-user IT infrastructure, TCP/IP networking, workstation monitoring, IT security standards, and tiered infrastructure models.
- Experience with IT service management processes, including ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management.
- Solid PowerShell scripting skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
- English language proficiency at B2 level.
