We are currently recruiting a Mobile Sales Representative for our client, a leading company in the FMCG industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales within assigned territories, managing customer relationships, distributing products, generating new business, and achieving set sales targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales and stock records, handling customer payments where applicable, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the company van safely to assigned territories and designated customer locations.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Visit existing and prospective customers/outlets to generate sales and expand the customer base.
  • Promote company products, explain product features, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Receive and process customer orders and ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
  • Load, arrange, and secure products in the vehicle while maintaining proper stock accountability.
  • Ensure products delivered to customers match approved orders and obtain proof of delivery where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collect customer payments where applicable and ensure accurate documentation and timely remittance.
  • Monitor stock levels on the vehicle and report shortages, damaged products, expired products, or discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer orders, deliveries, collections, stock movement, and daily activities.
  • Plan and follow assigned sales routes to maximise customer coverage and sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market activities, customer feedback, competitor activities, and product demand within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained, and promptly report any faults or maintenance requirements.
  • Comply with company policies, road safety regulations, and all relevant operational procedures.
  • Submit daily sales, stock, collection, and activity reports to the Sales Supervisor.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Sales Supervisor or Management.


RequirementsRequirements
  • Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver's licence with a good driving record.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in van sales, route sales, FMCG sales, distribution, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to sell products, generate orders, and achieve sales targets.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Basic numerical, cash-handling, and record-keeping skills.
  • Good knowledge of road networks within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to work independently, manage sales routes, and meet set targets.
  • Physically fit and able to load and unload products when required.
  • Must be responsible, trustworthy, customer-focused, and safety-conscious.
