Summary of Position:
We are currently seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our software quality assurance team. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in test automation framework development and deployment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Test automation framework support desktop solutions that interface with web & embedded systems.
Develop and execute automated test cases and perform bug tracking and management.
Understand user features and create test plans and test cases for assigned features.
Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution.
Be a customer advocate and work closely with the team to ensure our testing strategy and environments resemble closely to customer use cases.
Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production ready software
Ensure quality from low-level software to end applications
Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage

Qualifications
5+ years Experience with scripting, automation, and test development.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field.
Proficiency in testing Desktop, cloud-based frameworks, and backend/APIs.
Experience designing or supporting low-maintenance automation frameworks.
Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Fluency in Python or any other scripting language.
Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues in both code and automated tests.
Highly technical, organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.
Bonus Qualifications
Relevant experience in the field of automotive.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
Candidates must be able to sit for long periods of time to perform duties, and to move around and make inquiries from other staff, management as needed.
Must be able to bend or stoop down to access files, including lifting of items or objects up to 50 lbs.
