Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cloud monitoring, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps practices. Additionally, this role requires extensive experience in managing .NET microservices as SaaS applications to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable and highly available Azure cloud architectures to support business needs.

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency and minimize downtime.

Establish and maintain robust monitoring and alerting frameworks using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other tools.

Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, focusing on system reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

Drive automation initiatives to improve infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.

Architect and manage .NET microservices for SaaS applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into .NET microservices design and deployment.

Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring frameworks specific to microservices architecture.

Create and enforce security standards for Azure cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Provide technical leadership in incident response, root cause analysis, and the resolution of production issues.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools and solutions to enhance the organization’s cloud and microservices strategies.

Qualifications

Experience:

8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles, with at least 5 years specializing in Azure cloud.

Strong experience managing .NET microservices as SaaS applications in a production environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Azure services (Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, etc.).

Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

Deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.

SRE Expertise:

Proven track record of implementing SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.

Experience with incident management and on-call processes.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize large-scale distributed systems.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Leadership and mentoring experience.

Preferred Skills

Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies.

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Alerts, Dashboards, Workbooks, Playbooks, and Site 24x7.

Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.
