JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY


The Mobile Gaming Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing, testing, and monitoring Mobile Gaming Database related systems, communications, applications, and related processes for compliance with the Agua Caliente Gaming Commission (ACGC) Tribal Gaming Ordinance, applicable Federal and State regulations, and approved ACGC standards.


This position coordinates inspections, documentation, and compliance testing with ACBCI and ACGC IT personnel and other internal departments to verify accuracy of required reporting, maintain supporting records, and assist in regulatory readiness. The role also supports the development and maintenance of mobile gaming policies, procedures, and governance frameworks as a member of the ACGC Compliance Department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of MICS, the Tribal Compact, Internal Controls, and applicable regulations governing Indian gaming, with an emphasis on compliance testing mobile gaming.
  • Review and inspect compliance with the Tribal Gaming Ordinance, ACGC Regulations, and other applicable standards.
  • Review Mobile Gaming communications, applications, and tools related mobile gaming technologies to ensure appropriate approval and compliance with ACGC requirements.
  • Ensure Casino Operations has established Patron registration and access requirements are completed prior to granting access to regulated mobile gaming applications (i.e. age verification, payment processing, banned patrons)
  • Conduct documented assessments of mobile gaming activity to identify potential concerns related to bias, privacy, data protection, security, and regulatory compliance for age verification, payment processing, and self-exclusion program.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and reporting activities with ACBCI IT personnel to support compliance with approved ACGC standards.
  • Verify that required employee training and access requirements are completed prior to granting access to regulated mobile gaming applications (i.e. age verification, payment processing, self-exclusion program)
  • Maintain organized compliance records.
  • Assist the ACGC Compliance Department with applications, documentation, and records required for Commission and Board review or approval.
  • Participate in meetings with Federal and State regulatory officials, audits, and related inquiries as directed by the Director of Compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • All information pertaining to gaming data with concurrence from ACGC leadership.
  • Cyber Security and ACGC communication reports relating to casino data and their files.
  • Casino User Account records.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an office or administrative setting.
  • Fundamental understanding of cloud architecture and virtualization preferred.
  • Understanding of Mobile Communications, privacy leakage, and misuse preferred.
  • Preferred certifications: CFE, CompTIA Security+, ISACA CISA (Candidate), or ISC2 CGRC.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and adapt to changing assignments and interruptions with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to prepare organized, concise, and accurate reports.
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times during employment.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS


Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.


To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. 

 

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and quiet.
