THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Mobile Case Manager for a 12-month secondment covering Northern beaches, North Sydney, Eastern suburbs, CBD & surrounding.

If you’re a Rehabilitation Consultant, Allied Health Professional, or experienced Case Manager looking to step away from clinic or desk-based work, this could be a great next step into a more mobile role where you’re out in the field, working directly with people and making a real difference every day.

The purpose of this role is to focus on early, timely and personal face-to-face claims management, helping injured workers return to work and supporting their employers. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel across the region to support our stakeholders, with a maximum travel time of 1.5 hours one way.

You will undertake approximately 8 visits per week to best support our customers. A laptop, mobile phone, and car allowance will be provided to support travel across the region as required.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver personalised face-to-face assistance to workers and employers
  • Provide workers’ compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers employers and providers
  • Conduct community visits inclusive of but not limited to work sites or medical clinics
  • Pro-actively achieve the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workers
  • Consult with Providers, Employers and Return to Work Specialists where required
  • 1.5 hours travel time one way

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong Rehabilitation / Return to Work experience required, with demonstrated background as a Rehabilitation Consultant, Allied Health Professional, or experienced Workers Compensation Case Manager
  • Knowledge of the NSW workers’ compensation legislation and regulations
  • Effective listener and conflict resolution skills. Ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury and knowledge of what is important to maximise recovery and return to work
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, written and verbal proficiency
  • Allied Health background is desirable - understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframes
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s License
