Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program.
**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from January 21, 2025, through June 6, 2025. Department/Position Description:
Our department is the Mobile Value Stream which provides mobile customers with ecommerce applications that allows them to shop online easily for Delivery or Pickup while allowing them to save with the use of Digital Coupons. We are team that works together to ensure that we are providing the best customer experience along with meeting our client and stakeholders expectations. Our Android Team is responsible for developing and maintaining mobile apps for Stop and Shop, Giant, Giant Food, Martin's, Food Lion, and Hannaford while working closely with cross-functional teams.
The Co-op will be included in a scrum\agile team while working on feature development or improvements to Android Mobile Applications for our client base. They will be responsible for ensure that their assigned tasks are completed according to best practices and the definition of Done.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with Kotlin and Coroutines
- Android Development experience
- Object Orientated Programming (OOP) with SOLID Principles
- Restful APIs and GraphQL Knowledge
- Experience working in a collaborative group setting
- Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively
