QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in Aerospace or Mechanical at a four-year accredited university
- Experience in the development of aircraft, spacecraft, or similar systems (internships, laboratory, academic, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
- Orbital mechanics/astrodynamics coursework
- Must be able to work full time (40 hours per week), on-site in Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA for 12 consecutive weeks.
- Co-Op Programs will run concurrent with University Semester dates
- Intern Program will run May – August 2026
- Must be able to provide own transportation and housing.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Have completed their Junior and/or Senior year
- GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Passionate about advancing space security and sustainability.
- Resilient problem-solving attitude.
- Experience with astrodynamics simulation tools (STK, GMAT etc).
- Proficient in Python.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a member of our Engineering Internship Program, you will gain hands-on experience contributing to the design, development, and testing of mission-critical spacecraft systems. Internship responsibilities may include:
- Mission Architecture analysis:
- Develop system or subsystem level ConOps, create mission tests and mission data processing capabilities to gain insight into system performance, evaluate and define system requirements, perform cross system and astrodynamics analysis, perform system trade studies.
- Collaborate closely with mentors and team members to apply your knowledge and develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork, interacting with engineers from various disciplines to solve complex challenges.
- Showcase your work through presentations or project reviews.
- Participate in social and professional events with fellow interns and employees

COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $28/hour
