Role Summary and Impact 

The Senior Media Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing media campaigns across various channels to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role involves managing relationships with media vendors, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring media plans align with marketing strategies. The Media Manager oversees both traditional and digital media, ensuring a cohesive and data-driven approach to media buying and planning.  

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies across various channels (digital, social, print, broadcast, etc.).
  • Plan, execute, and optimize media campaigns across paid, earned, and owned media channels.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to develop media content that aligns with the brand’s voice and goals.
  • Allocate and manage media budgets to maximize return on investment (ROI) while staying within the marketing budget.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics for media campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  •  Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and advertising agencies.
  • Assist in managing crisis communication and reputation management via media outlets as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a media, advertising, or digital marketing agency.
  • Strong hands-on experience across Digital Marketing, particularly: Social Media, Search, and Display
  • Solid understanding of integrated communications planning across online and offline channels.
  • Proven client servicing experience, with the ability to confidently manage senior stakeholders and present strategic recommendations.
  • Previous experience leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Experience managing regional or international clients, ideally with exposure to markets outside of Iraq.
