Millwright
Reporting to the Shop Manager, this position plays an integral role in our manufacturing operation and includes functions such as Assembly, Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance.
Position Responsibilities
Installation & Assembly: Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to assemble and install machinery like Winches, Pumps, Tanks and Robotic systems.
Precision Alignment: Using specialized tools (e.g., micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs) to align gears, shafts, and motors.
Maintenance & Repair: Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Fabrication: Operating machine and hand tools like lathes, mills, drills, grinders to fabricate or modify parts as needed.
Rigging & Moving: Forklift, Scissor lift to position , mount, install equipment, boilers, winches.
Key Skills
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and understanding PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hand and power tools with high precision.
Physical Stamina: Capacity to lift heavy objects (often over 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in noisy industrial environments.
· Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results
Certifications: Licenced Millwright or Apprentice Millwright
Position Requirements:
4-5 years of experience working in machine shop / industrial environment
Flexibility to work extended shifts, including evenings or weekends.
MUST have good communication skills, work ethic, Team player with positive attitude.
Skills Required

- Licensed Millwright or Apprentice Millwright certification
- Proficiency reading technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams and understanding PLC systems
- Experience with assembly, installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to operate machine and hand tools (lathes, mills, drills, grinders) for fabrication or modification of parts
- Forklift and scissor lift operation and rigging experience to position and install equipment
- Ability to perform precision alignment using tools such as micrometers and lasers
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (often over 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in noisy industrial environments
- Flexibility to work extended shifts, including evenings or weekends
