Salary Range: $42.00 per hour (Shift Premium)

Shift: Afternoons -Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am
Provide comprehensive maintenance, mechanical and electrical support for all production equipment at the Georgetown site, ensuring Howmet Aerospace’s preventive and unscheduled maintenance programs are effective, current, and compliant. This position is for the afternoon shift at Howmet.
DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES
Conducts preventative maintenance on all production machinery and related equipment including, material handling and fork lift equipment.
Assist in the implementation of new projects as well as, adjusting, improving and repairing of existing equipment.
Start up and observe all machines to detect malfunctions and report any/all findings and correct any deficiencies.
Communicate ideas for improvement to the department Manager on all production related machinery and parts.
Perform building/facility maintenance related duties including but not limited to mechanical, electrical related items in plant and office areas.
Observe and make improvements on production machinery and parts under the direction of the departmental Manager.
Monitor and maintain safety performance equipment.
Ensure department personnel operate within Howmet’s EHS standards and procedures.
Assist Quality Assurance with validation and verification of equipment and processes.
Ensure all maintenance repairs are communicated internally with the interested parties in a timely manner.
Monitor and work with property management to ensure parking lots are cleared of snow and ice. Apply additional salt on parking lot if required.
Experience in production, heavy industrial mechanical, electrical type systems
Knowledge of Pneumatic/Hydraulic, Welding, Pipe fittings, PLC’s including plumbing and Gas
Good knowledge of manual and mechanical machine tools, especially milling and drilling machines.
Good understanding of mechanical, electrical requirements as specified on blueprints and specifications.
Forklift, Aerial Platform, Working at Heights, Log-Out Tag-Out, First Aid certifications.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Valid 433A Millwright license (Dual Ticketed Millwright/ Electrician an asset)
Minimum two years’ experience in a manufacturing production environment
