Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Millwright to join our Maintenance team at our Euclid, Ohio manufacturing facility.

The Millwright will support the installation, maintenance, repair, and reliability of industrial machinery and production equipment throughout the facility. This position will troubleshoot mechanical equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with equipment installations and relocations, and work closely with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable operations.

This is a hands-on skilled trades position ideal for an experienced industrial mechanic who is comfortable working with heavy machinery, precision equipment, and complex mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial machinery and production equipment. 
  • Diagnose mechanical issues involving bearings, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other mechanical components. 
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. 
  • Install, align, level, and relocate machinery using appropriate rigging, lifting, and precision alignment techniques. 
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. 
  • Perform equipment disassembly, repair, component replacement, reassembly, and precision alignment as required. 
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and other Maintenance team members to troubleshoot equipment failures and identify opportunities for long-term reliability improvements. 
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, rigging, lifting, and required PPE standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous millwright, industrial maintenance, industrial mechanic, or related skilled trades experience 
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities 
  • Experience working with bearings, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and other industrial equipment 
  • Experience installing, aligning, leveling, and relocating industrial machinery 
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation 
  • Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and safe material-handling practices 
  • Experience with precision measuring and alignment tools 
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex equipment issues
