Your mission
We're looking for a midweight maker who thinks like a creative, but isn’t allergic to systems. Your inclination is to focus on the idea — what we’re inviting our audiences to consider the thing that makes someone take notice, the signs of life behind a piece of communication. You'll join our in-house studio to help us take the everyday output (external- and internal-facing) of a scale-up organization and make it genuinely interesting.
This isn't a leadership role. We're not expecting you to own projects end-to-end or manage stakeholders solo. What we need is a sharp creative generalist who can jump into any brief, bring ideas to the table, execute it well, and make everything around you better. You'll work alongside creative leads, designers, and writers, contributing ideas and craft rather than running the show.
You'll get the variety and creative energy of agency work without the constant pitching and client churn — plus the stability and context of being embedded in one organization. You'll never be short of interesting problems to solve.Your responsibilities
Take briefs (some exciting, some mundane) and find an angle that makes them interesting
Contribute concepts in brainstorms and creative reviews, not just execute someone else's idea
Design across formats: social content, internal comms, presentations, campaign assets, event collateral, video explainers, ad hoc requests
Partner with copywriters, art directors, and other designers as part of a small creative team
Take direction well, iterate fast, and know when a first idea isn't the right one
Bring craft and polish to work that could otherwise be forgettable
Help the studio continue its push for a higher bar for creative quality across everything it touches, even the boring stuff
You have 3–5 years of experience in an agency, in-house creative team, or similar environment
You think in ideas and concepts first, execution second — but can still execute at a good level
You have a strong, varied portfolio that shows range across formats, not just one polished visual style
You're comfortable working fast, taking feedback, and pivoting without ego
You enjoy being part of a team more than being the lead on a project
You have a good eye for typography, layout, and visual storytelling
You're excited by the challenge of making content genuinely good
Experience with motion, video editing, or basic animation
Experience with workflow automations and use of AI as a tool in your toolbox
Comfort presenting or talking through ideas in a small group setting
