We are looking for a Middle QA Automation Engineer (JS, JavaScript) to join our Minsk office. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining automation framework.
Our international National Retail Solutions teams located in the US, Israel, and Minsk that produces interactive, high-performance web applications that are both good-looking and easy to use.
At this role you will:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web and API applications, ensuring high-quality software functionality and performance.
- Improve and extend existing JavaScript automation frameworks (e.g., Webdriver.io, Cypress) to enhance test coverage and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring the timely delivery of quality software.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Actively participate in project meetings, providing timely updates on critical issues, milestones, and testing progress.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide comprehensive reports to ensure software meets performance, usability, and security standards.
We expect you to have:
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on test automation frameworks and tools.
- Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation tests using JavaScript tools like Webdriver.io, Cypress, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
- Proficient in API testing and automation using tools like Postman, with a solid understanding of API testing methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and working in collaborative environments.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- A good level of English (B1 or higher).
Bonus points for:
- Experience with different testing approaches (functional, edge/boundary, negative/failure, regression, performance).
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems, e-commerce order management, and order processing systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies for testing environments.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Exposure to test automation using TypeScript.
- Proficiency in mobile test automation with tools like Appium or similar technologies.
