Sao Paulo, Brazil - Remote

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience in web and microservices development with Java and Spring Boot
• At least 1 year of experience in public cloud development (AWS)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, as well as caching and data indexing solutions
• Languages & Frameworks: Java (8 and 17) with Spring Boot
• Architecture: Microservices pattern
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
• Testing: Unit and integration testing (JUnit, Postman/Newman)
• Databases: Relational and non-relational (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, RDS, DynamoDB)
• Messaging & Event Hubs: SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
• Observability & Monitoring: Logging, health checks, and metrics using tools like DataDog
• CI/CD: Continuous integration and deployment tools (Jenkins)
• Best Practices: Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, 12 Factors
• Public Cloud: Experience with AWS; knowledge of Azure or GCP is a plus
• Serverless: Experience with AWS Lambda.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in the Insurance sector
• Development experience with Quarkus

Responsibilities

• Implement prioritized features by applying best engineering practices and ensuring consistent functional and technical validations throughout the entire development lifecycle
• Adopt architectural principles such as flexibility, scalability, and resilience
• Follow modern architectural patterns, including event-driven architecture
• Actively participate in discussions on the product’s technical evolution
• Contribute to strategic technical architecture decisions to support product evolution
• Define and implement integrations between internal and external services using HTTP RESTful protocols, messaging, and event hubs
