Job Summary
As a Mid Software Specialist (14870), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or systems.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on project requirements.
Fix bugs, refactor code, and enhance application performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- 5 + years experience working in the container terminal domain as in the role of terminal operating system implementation, TOS customization, user training and support
- Knowledge with Terminal Operation System (TOS) is necessary
- Programming language on Visual Basic, Visual Basic.net, ASP.Net, XML, Java, Jasper Reports
- Knowledge on relational database, Oracle, MSSOL,ProgreSql.
- Knowledge in using JDBC, ODBC objects,
- ADO.NET
- Knowledge on UNEDIFACT such as BAPLIE, CODECO, COARRI, COPARN and X12 EDI standara
- Solid experience in Groovy Scrioting, Java language and RESTful AP| development.
- Tintrastructure knowledge would be an advantage.
