What this role is all about
As a Full-Stack Engineer at Infobip, you'll join one of two teams within our Platform base, API Governance or CPaaS Integrations, both working at the core of how Infobip's public APIs and integrations are built, governed, and scaled. The API Governance team maintains five SDKs across multiple languages and partners closely with other teams through consultations and reviews to keep our API standards consistent. The CPaaS Integrations team is newly formed and is taking over integration work, such as connecting platforms like Salesforce, Oracle, and Microsoft to Infobip's messaging channels (Viber, WhatsApp, and more). You'll work primarily with React/TypeScript and Java/Spring Boot, in an agile environment.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and SDKs supporting public APIs and CPaaS integrations
- Build and maintain integrations connecting external platforms (such as Salesforce, Oracle, and Microsoft) with Infobip's messaging capabilities
- Participate in API governance activities, including consultations and reviews with other teams to align on API quality and consistency
- Contribute to and maintain SDKs across multiple languages, including C#, Java, Python, Go, and PHP
- Collaborate with engineers and DevOps colleagues in an agile, Scrum-based environment
- Work across both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Java/Spring Boot) components as needed
- Effectively leverage AI tooling to support development, testing, and documentation work
What makes you a strong fit
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols
- Comfortable working in a technology-agnostic setup, open to working across multiple programming languages and SDKs
- Experience working in agile environments
- Professional and proactive attitude, comfortable taking ownership of governance, consultation, and integration work
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Experience with Java and/or React/TypeScript
- Exposure to cloud-based systems or services
- Experience working with SDKs in C#, Python, Go, or PHP
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Maven
- Experience with Docker
- Understanding of databases and data management tools such as MSSQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting production distributed systems
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
