What this role is all about
As a Software Engineer in the IBOS Base team, you will work on internal products and integrations that support Infobip’s Revenue organization and business operations. The team develops applications and AI-enabled solutions that help automate workflows, improve sales processes, and reduce manual operational work across the company.
You will contribute to products focused on data consolidation, workflow automation, and AI-assisted insights for Revenue teams. The work includes building integrations between multiple internal and external systems, developing backend services, and contributing to frontend and AI-related initiatives where needed. The team works in a fast-moving environment with a strong focus on practical problem solving, ownership, and continuous product development.
This role is suited for engineers who already have solid software engineering fundamentals and want to continue growing in distributed systems, integrations, and AI-supported product development.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain backend services and integrations using Java and Spring-based technologies
Build solutions that connect and synchronize data across multiple internal and external systems
Contribute to internal products and AI-enabled applications used by Revenue and Sales teams
Participate in the development of assistant-like tools and automation features that improve operational efficiency
Work across backend and frontend tasks when needed, including React and TypeScript-based applications
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
Troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and contribute to improving system reliability
Collaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and business teams in an agile environment
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
What makes you a strong fit
2+ years of professional software engineering experience with solid production-level experience with Java
Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, clean code practices, and testing
Experience developing backend applications, APIs, or integrations
Understanding of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Interest in distributed systems, integrations, and AI-supported applications
Comfortable working in environments with evolving requirements and technical complexity
Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and systems
Comfortable collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Nice-to-have qualifications
Experience with Spring or Spring Boot
Experience with React and TypeScript
Familiarity with Python or AI-related development initiatives
Understanding of distributed systems and system integrations
Experience working with APIs, synchronization services, or data pipelines
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices
Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Interest in AI-assisted workflows, automation, and internal product development
