We are looking for a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our team and support the successful delivery of business and technology initiatives within the banking sector. In this role, you will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to analyse business needs, gather and document requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, supporting business analysis activities, user acceptance testing, and solution implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, Process Flows, Test Scenarios, and User Manuals
- Collaborate with business users, project teams, and IT stakeholders to define business needs and solution requirements
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, execution, and issue resolution
- Participate in project planning, analysis, and delivery activities
- Ensure business requirements are clearly communicated and accurately translated into functional solutions
- Monitor project progress and support successful delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Produce and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements
- Experience preparing BRDs, User Stories, Process Flows, Test Scenarios, and User Manuals
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong documentation and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience working on banking transformation or digital banking projects
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
- Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or process modelling techniques
- Professional Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, ECBA, PMI-PBA, or similar)
- Enjoy analysing business needs and translating them into practical solutions
- Can effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders
