Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • System Engineering

    • Engage with business users on collaboration application requirements and lead technical design discussions to help administer M365 and MS Teams platform.

    • Implement new MS Teams features and keep up with regular release updates by introducing features to the user community on a regular basis.

    • Develop detailed test plans that ensure the quality of M365 components configuration and integrations prior to production releases.

    • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and/or PowerAutomate flows.

  • Technical Support

    • Administer and maintain configurations in M365 Admin Center for Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange, and other similar apps.

    • Develop detailed test plans that ensure the quality of M365 components configuration and integrations prior to production releases.

    • Collaborate cross functionally with internal infrastructure and security teams, as well as external vendors, to solve complex issues.

    • Perform change management for system and application changes.

  • Monitoring and Security

    • Manage group policies to control access to features in M365 products including Teams, Exchange, and other applications.

    • Solve security and compliance requirements to protect data, comply with regulatory requirements, and secure access within the M365 platform using available tools including Purview and/or Defender.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Comfortable with building and managing various servers 

  • Experience with networking management, configurations and changes 

  • Experience with systems and networking troubleshooting to identify the root cause and fixes 

  • Knowledgeable about ticket systems and follow processes 

  • Strong communication and writing skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Automation and scripting experience 

Physical Demand & Work Environment:

  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

  • Must be able to use a computer

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively 

  • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
