A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Microsoft 365 Senior Administrator focusing on Teams, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the Microsoft Teams collaboration platform within our manufacturing business of over 10,000 employees. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication, efficient collaboration, and secure information sharing among our teams.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Microsoft Teams Configuration and Management:
- Configure and maintain Teams channels, chat, apps, and meetings.
- Monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with end-users to enhance their Teams experience.
- Collaboration Solutions Enhancement:
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and propose Teams-based solutions.
- Implement governance policies, security settings, and compliance measures.
- Drive adoption of Teams features and best practices.
- Integration and Customization:
- Integrate Teams with other Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
- Customize Teams with apps, bots, and connectors to streamline workflows.
- User Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for employees on Teams usage.
- Provide responsive support for Teams-related queries and issues.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor Teams usage analytics and generate reports.
- Identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
- Proactively identify potential vulnerabilities, assess risks, and take necessary actions to enhance security.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience managing Microsoft Teams in a large enterprise environment.
- Exposure to cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams administration.
- Familiarity with PowerShell for Teams management.
- Understanding of Teams security and compliance features.
- Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into Teams solutions.
