Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Design, configure, and enforce device compliance policies, security baselines, and hardening standards (e.g., CIS Benchmark Level 1).
- Implement and manage Windows Autopilot for streamlined device provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Monitor and report on device health, compliance, and security using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and related analytics tools.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to support user onboarding, application deployment, and incident resolution.
- Enhance security through Conditional Access policies, Identity Protection, and role-based access control (RBAC) in Entra AD.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate application deployment, configuration, and removal via Intune.
- Package and deploy custom Win32 applications using Intune, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Participate in regular audits, patch management cycles, and security incident investigations.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for endpoint-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay informed on Microsoft 365 and Intune roadmap updates, proposing enhancements to endpoint management strategies.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) in an enterprise environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra AD (formerly Azure AD), Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Proven experience deploying and managing custom applications via Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, diagnostics, and configuration management.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security principles, including compliance policies and Conditional Access.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills to document processes and interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Microsoft Certifications such as MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) or MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator).
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API for Intune automation or integration.
- Familiarity with third-party Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools or IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
