What You’ll Do
- The MI Business Analyst will serve as the key contact for all Management Information-related matters, including reporting tool product support, setup, maintenance, issue resolution, and strategic consultation.
- This role involves providing extensive consultation to both internal and external end users regarding MI reporting tools, product usage, and functionality while making effective recommendations on which reports best align with client requirements.
- The analyst will analyze reports to identify trends and their impact on clients, establishing globalization of reporting and processes to field questions and drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting account managers in preparation for monthly client meetings and reviews regarding Business Intelligence aspects will be a core responsibility, along with creating formatted, hierarchy-based reports and establishing new and current local region reporting structures.
- The candidate will lead global data projects and provide strategic collaboration to clients and Amex GBT teams around reporting requirements and global mapping.
- Additionally, the analyst will maintain client setup information in the Amex GBT MI database to ensure consistent global reporting while overseeing delivered recommendations to support BI initiatives.
- The role includes designing and producing advanced dashboards using intelligence tools such as Excel and Access, as well as identifying root causes of data issues to correct source data.
- Finally, the analyst will coordinate production of Business Intelligence reviews, presentations, reports, and scorecards while providing proactive recommendations for best practice reporting and analysis to enhance overall account performance.
What We’re Looking For
- American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) is seeking an MI Business Analyst with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access, along with proven ability to collaborate seamlessly across functions and teams.
- Strong communication skills are essential, with the capacity to influence both internal and external customers with ease.
